The quality of K4C is dependent on the quality and faithfulness of our volunteer teams. We are continually investing time and resources so that our volunteers are equipped and empowered to meet the needs of our children.

“By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” - 1 Corinthians 3:10-11

Prayer, the essential foundation for all effective ministry
Before each service, individual volunteer serving teams meet to pray for God’s blessing on their ministry time and the children they will minister to, as well as the families those children represent. “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
–Matthew 21:22

Biblically based; Child centered; Relational & Fun!
K4C lessons will be inspired by the Word of God. Or staff and the volunteers must look through the eyes of each child to create ministry that reaches. Teaches, loves children, and makes learning fun!
“…and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”
- 2 Timothy 3:15-16

Form authentic and loving relationships with volunteers and children
Volunteers form relationships with other volunteers within their serving teams as well as with the children they minister to.
“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” -John 15:12

“And if anyone gives a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is My disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward.”

Safe & Secure environment
Parents trust us with their most precious possessions: their children. Children thrive in an environment where they feel safe emotionally, physically, and spiritually. K4C is committed to providing a safe and secure place where children can learn about Jesus.
“For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling.” -Psalm 27:5

Place volunteers in ministry positions to best utilize their spiritual gifts
In K4C, we make every effort to place volunteers in serving positions that fit their schedule, passions, and gifts.
“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.”
-Colossians 3:23

Excellence honors God
A commitment to excellence in K4C is the key to honoring God. Each team member must be fully committed to serving with excellence. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.” -Colossians 3:23
